These things can be tricky just finding the right settings! lol Damage_inc- 1 Awards

HDMI as far as I know does not support power on to a monitor, be it TV or standard Monitor. If it is off it needs to be switched on either manually or by remote. Most conventional TV's will auto shut off if there is no signal. Example being if Computer goes to sleep or sends signal for the monitor to shut off after say 30 min, the TV will shut down after a few minutes of no signal. This is not the same as blank screen. You will need to set your power settings to turn monitor off: Never if you do not wish your TV to shut off. Instead set it to blank screen screen saver this will black the screen with out turning the TV off and it will wake/unblank when you bring the PC out of standby/sleep. PC monitors will go to low power mode and shut the screen off without physically shutting the monitor off, that is how they wake when the PC wakes Edited March 10, 2017 by ~Marley BigPapaDean, L!ckALotAPus and Damage_inc- 3 Awards
