I'm running the game on Windows 7 Ultimate. The mic works fine, even the voice indicator is moving, but when I try to talk in the game nothing happends. Yes the voice chat is turned on and mic setup in control panel is turned on. So whene I press my mic button the icon for voice chat shows on the screen but nothing else shows up (on map my caracter isn't boxed in voice chat stripes). How old is the mic your trying to use? Mine was about 8 months old and it wouldn't seem to work in game, but outside it worked fine. Check the mic jack. If your mic isn't a USB mic the jack probably isn't working right. What I had to do was go out and buy a USB mic and plug it in the back to the USB jack. Maybe that is the problem you are having.
