Some of you have even heard my wife on here (apologies). I got in trouble ... We had a July 17 Patriot Day sort of celebration in the mountains last night. Food, drinks, fireworks, gunshots. The gunshots got me in trouble this time. I (we) do it up here in the hills every New Years Eve and 4th of July. This was a during a special occasion last night where it all comes together. Apparently, I didn't warn enough people in advance .. because lowlanders and city breeders attended the party. For the record, it was only four (4) rounds of birdshot out of a pump-action Remington 870. No birds or fireworks were harmed during the making of this video. People hear a gunshot and the next reflex is to scatter and run. Rod & Gun club is a quarter mile down Spring Creek valley. Everyone in town is a member, with a rifle & pistol range & trap machines. Sound of gunfire echoes back into town all day, and nobody even notices. The only time you stop to listen is when the belted magnums come out, or the State police are playing w/their full auto ARs.
