Half-a-dozen things going on yesterday, forgot I had nothing for lunch sandwiches. Tossed two chicken breasts in the skillet, olive oil & low heat. Tired of sliced meat, so I put a small pot on w/half a cup of ketchup, two heaping spoonfuls of brown sugar, little white vinegar, little malted vinegar, salt, pepper, & cayenne for kicks. Cut the breasts up, dropped them in the pot with the makeshift concoction, and pulled them apart with a fork while simmering. Chicken on toasted wheat, mustard & mayonnaise, and lettuce to top. Damn, wish I had written that recipe down, because I'm looking forward to lunch. Anyone have favorites for home-made BBQ sauces?

I have a lot of different sauce recipes. Just tried this one a few weeks ago.  It is fantastic for pulled pork sliders served on kings Hawaiian rolls

Picture of deceased, dismembered, chicken parts.  I thought of using molasses, but it's like never-seize. One drop, and it covers everything.

Here is another BBq sauce I found years ago that is really good.  I have probably made 5 gallons of it by now

Damnnnn that is what I call throwing it down

Not quite fair, Loader. I was throwing together a concoction for lunch while doing chores. BDS was engaged in a labor of love cooking for the family. If I had a bottle of BBQ sauce on the shelf I would've used it, but as usual, I'm short an ingredient when the mood strikes.

@TheLastColdBeer oh it sounds great and looked great...My point was you did not google or open a book and still mastered some yum yums...Now if you have went with the peanut butter, jelly and onion sandwich we may have needed a intervention lol...On a side note you did write the recipe down and shared it here...I have been known to "throw" some things together because I am tired of the same ole same ole
