With Federal Debt/GDP >100%, the only way for the U.S. govt to repay their debts is to let inflation run above nominal yields for a sustained period of time. 

It's called financial repression, and it's designed to erode the wealth of creditors.

It's a purposeful policy decision.

Thats what i said to some of my relatives and friends be aware history is back again.

they assume that interest rates for mortage gonna stay low .i will never gonna raise over 10%..tsktsk..

When bought my first house in 1989  mortgage rates was 10,75% and is was a good rate then, it everyone siad il will never gonna go down 6% like in 1965 ...ahahah wrong i felt down to 2% .

With these high inflation rates , interest rates  had to be raise to stop inflation like was in late 70's .

Be ware those who have a high mortgage amount , in my place the people are byuing a monthly payment for their budget  and they dont care of the amount of dollars they have on mortgage.

These low interest rates  will not stay ....
