where the hell is it,,win 11,,,

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\CoDWaWmp.exe" it is not here,,,I only have DOcs,,zone,,main,,pb and english folders

NOT A STEAM VERSION

Look here. Just have to make sure you can see hidden folders as 'AppData' is hidden.

C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\usermaps

In the windows explorer...

I got it to show,,it was shaded out but i clicked on it and took off hidden

Have to launch the mod you want to try it in.
In COD5, if you don't see any mods listed in the "Launch" menu, just go into one our servers, whichever one you want to try the map in, then exit the server but dont quit.  This will launch the mod.  Then use the tilde ~key, :  map mp_MAPNAME

Just be sure the map you want to try is in your usermaps folder.

It's the naming of the mod.  The games "Launch" menu looks for mod name preceded with mp_ where many of our mods are not named with the structure, eg. xinam.

The other option is to make a copy of the mod, located in the mods directory where you find usermaps, and name it mp_MODNAME.

 

Then you'll see it the MODS menu and can launch it.  Then you can use the ~ tilde and run your map.  >>  map mp_MAPNAME

you can copy and paste the mod someplace add the mp_ then drop it back in your mod folder . You then have the best of both worlds. Merlin paid me 3 dollars to type that
