IMPORTANT - Login Changes

I've been made aware of a change that will be coming to the website soon, although Invision can't confirm when.

Your login to the forum is currently your "forum display name" or  "email address"

With the next release (v5) of the forum software though this will be changed to your "email address" only

It is a good move as it will increase security but i suspect its going to lead to many people confused - still trying to use their display name to log in and wondering why it wont work.

Passwords won't change its just the log in name part but I'd advise everyone to start using your email address instead to get used to it before we get forced to use it.

You can update your email address in your profile settings if it's an old email address

Haha I will send you a PM on facebook as soon as I can no longer login. I am a idiot and my user name has caused grief before (loADER>XI<) was changed to (loaderXI) as a work around and Rockape set a password that I may or may not remember 

Besides I'm just going to blame BlackRose anyways

go in to your profile NOW and select  settings to change  Email address.  take a screen shot with phone if change your PWD  or  write in your PWD book if memory that good  oops that your current mail address not login

there you can edit the correct info
