Wife and I joined several of our 'dockmates' up at the Warf in Washington, D.C. this past weekend. It was HOT as Haiti, but there was plenty of libations and good times flowing. There is quite a bit going on in the background. And to allow time for players to log in and get put on a team. Not everyone has a wonderful connection. And of course the time required for the auto balance itself. Less then 7 will potentially cause stability problems. But up to all of you if you want to ask Rugger to lower it anyway.

The timer is to give the opportunity for people switching rounds to complete the joining and spawn process before performing the auto balance. Also to allow the balance itself to complete.

I can see you've been trying to connect unsuccessfully Previous players have had issues with their mic which causes problems like this. It could be looking for a mic if voice chat is on

That's odd because I've had a corrupt map folder recently. So I've deleted them all and am downloading a new map in less than a minute.. I've not had any spikes or issues in the server at all. If you are running steam then create a shortcut for the game on your desktop and turn off steam
