Gabapentin usually prescribed in conjunction with people who have diabetes. My. Wife has diabetes and uses Gabapentin for her neoropathy in her feet it works well.

To me it sounds like you are getting iw3 errors there is no fix for the iw3s everyone has opinion on it its a long shot but remove the mod and all your maps don't reinstall the game waist of time
