A few years ago I found out that one of my old friends from my UT 2000  gaming days killed himself.  He was super depressed.  His girlfriend at the time was cheating on him and she was pregnant with another mans kid.  He pretty much did everything he could for her and nothing worked.   He disappeared for years, and then I found out he killed himself due to depression. He stopped talking to everyone,  stayed to himself, he had a good job, but the pain was eating him up inside.  We all go through things in life, and we have our ups and downs, but if anyone who is reading this has thoughts of ending their life or ever has, you need to reach out to someone - XI or not.  We are gamers, but most importantly, we are a family.

WOW! What an amazing time and turnout this afternoon/evening/night

What should have been a 3-hour Happy Hour turned into almost 10 hours!  Some of us were there from the very beginning to the very end, and some of us just popped in for a few to say hi.  Some people left to have dinner or do other things and came back and couldn't believe we were still there   Great conversation and great friends!  What a great way to spend some time with fellow XI members, and get to know them a little better.  One of the biggest highlights was for those who were on while Demonio was there, to get to hear him play some amazing guitar 🎸Looking forward to the next one......love you all! 💕

My whole family has COVID. Wear a face mask. Consider that you might be an asymptomatic carrier and are spreading it because you aren't covering up. We have worn them since the beginning, but we live in a resort town that has been overrun by mask-less vacationers. None of our friends have it. We got it from somebody in a public space who thought they didn't need to wear one. That people are still refusing to do such a simple thing is mind-boggling to me. Quit rationalizing why you don't need to. 

I'm so sorry, Weed. It's got to be painful not being able to sit and talk with him. You and your family are in my prayers. Hoping he comes home soon.

Please think before you drink or smoke or do anything mind altering and get in to the drivers seat. The ripple effect you may cause in a families life will never end. RIP Big brother, Im going to miss you so much but Il will see you again.
