Wild Fire reacted to StormCrow in I Had A Dream!!!
Ok, so, as most of you know, I have been following the Canadian rock band Monster Truck for a few years. This band has captured my heart and soul. They supported my weight loss journey, they have been amazing guys all around. Well tonight I got to see them in concert for the 1st time in 9 months!! They been working on a new album and shit and are getting ready to drop it so they did a show in Toronto.
Half way through the show the lead guitarist gets on the mic and thanks everyone for showing up, then he says "We have some of the best fans in the world and we have some of them here tonight in the crowd, 1 in particular is our biggest fan, James from Cambridge in the front row here is our biggest fan by far" At this point I am over the fucking moon! Im thinking they are gonna dedicate a song out to me, they did that 2 years ago on the show, then this happened
"James, ya wanna come up here and rock Shes a Witch with us?"
HOLY FUCK!!!!!
Ok, if you are a fan of music and have a band you love beyond belief, most people heavily into music do, your ultimate dream if you play an instrument is to play a song with your favorite band. Not too many people actually get the chance to do so. Well I did, and I took it, and I fucking rocked it!!!!
So, im shitting bricks making my way through the crowd to chants of "James James James James" no fucking shit here people, my friend has video I will upload when he gets it up on his Youtube channel.
I got up on stage, got hooked up with one of Jers (the lead guitarist) classic '67 Gibson SG's and I fucking rocked it!! I fubbed a little bit, but luckily they had Jers guitar slightly louder than mine so ya cant really tell, but I fucking did it!! to a SOLD OUT HOUSE!!!!!! I fucking rocked it, i took my cheers and got hugs from all the members and back to the front row I went to rock out with a huge smile the rest of the night, i have literally typed this with my musical boner!!!
Heres a pic emailed to me, dropped my email to bunch of people so will have photos and videos coming in tomorrow or the next day
This is me shaking hands with the lead singer/bass player

Wild Fire reacted to J3st3r in Dad update
Update: Called his family doctor and he called down and found out that they sent him back up to Conemaugh hospital. Got a number to call up there and talked to them. They are NOT happy that our local POS hospital did not inform us of his situation or even tell us they were sending him up to Conemaugh hospital. Conemaugh hospital is the best one around here so I'm happy that he is up there.
Apparently it was NOT his heart this time. His Kidneys quit working and he was full of toxins which was making him sick as a dog and it causes heart fluctuations and severe pain rite across the rib cage (below the heart) and around the back. Not a good thing to happen after having a Heart attack only weeks before. They had him on 20 different pills wtf did they expect to happen? Luckily his liver and stuff is working the way they should. They pushed fluids and got his Kidneys restarted and started Kidney dialysis. They do not know at this time whether he will have to continue going in for future Kidney dialysis but they are saying that it looks like they might have caught it before any serious damage was done so there is a good chance that he will not have to have Kidney dialysis in the future.
They say it was caused by his extremely low blood pressure from being clogged up and having the heart attack. Not enough blood flow to keep everything running the way it should. I have no idea why they did not test his Kidney function when he was up there before. Talked to the old grumpy bastage on the phone and he sounds like his normal every day self again. Actually he was in quite a pleasant mood. I think he likes it up there with all of the Hot nurses and all of the attention that he's getting. They have great food to. We ate in there cafeteria last time we was up and it was damn good food.
Will update when I find out more.
Thank you, you beautiful strapping ladies and gents for the prayers and kind works. You really have no idea how much it is helping. Yes even you @Mule you drunkin 7am pizza eating mofo HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MOTHERFUCKER!!!! lol

Wild Fire reacted to J3st3r in Dad update
My Dad was just rushed back to the Hospital.
He wasn't eating and when he did eat he would throw it back up within minutes. He was complaining of mild chest pain but HE assumed it was related to vomiting so the grumpy stubborn ass did not say a word to me or Mom regarding it. I called 911 again and they came out and put him on there portable heart monitor. He's having cardiac problems again. EMS said that the 2 arteries that they ballooned open might have partly closed up again. They are going to take him in and do a bunch more tests and crap this evening. Hopefully they find out wtf is going on and can fix it.
The grumpy fucker does nothing but lay around and bitch and moan about shit and never says anything to me or mom about not feeling well. He's always been that way. Some times I wish I would of not came back home when he had his double bypass surgery 15 years ago but I just can't do that to them. We love him so much but he's sooo "all knowing" and self centered to give a shit about us.
Me and mom are very very shook up. It's hard to type but I'll update once we know more.

Wild Fire reacted to WldPenguin in That final push... Tax season is about over
@MikeB , we filed about 50, although I filed one for every person that hasn't been in yet in addition to those 50 that contacted me already. You know.....CYA Mine wait until October usually also. But this year, I'm either going to encourage them with a discount for every month it's early, or I'll charge more for every month they wait

Wild Fire reacted to Angelz in Humboldt Broncos
On Friday April 6, 2018 the Humboldt Broncos Junior Hockey Team from Saskatchewan, Canada were involved in a horrific crash with a semi truck. 15 people lost their lives. There are no words that can explain what their families must be going through.
I made this tribute to them:

Wild Fire reacted to Burt(XI) in Good News
My wife was in a horrible car wreck in early January. A kid turned in front of her and she hit him doing about 50 mph. Multiple bone fractures including neck, back, ribs, sternum and foot. Today she was able to remove her neck and chest brace for good. Wearing that brace 24/7 for 4 months had to suck. Now 6 weeks of rehab. The good news is that shes well on her way to recovery.

Wild Fire reacted to BigPapaDean in Health update!!!
It's kind of eerie how many times we follow in our parent's footsteps in ways we are sometimes unaware of. About five or so years ago I had kidney failure and was unaware of it. It just so happened that I hadn't been able to see my Dr for several yrs and when I finally did he took urine samples and a blood withdrawal. To my dismay, my kidneys were in failure stage and he said we needed to see if we could restart them. I was relieved that at least there was a chance that they weren't totally gone. I didn't savor the idea of dialysis and was really upset by this whole thing. Let me digress here for a moment to give you an idea how all this happened. For 30 plus yrs my blood pressure was 185/90 plus and they just couldn't get it to come down. I was sitting in my NP's office and she kept looking at me with a very concerned face. Finally, she told me my bp was 225/whatever and I should go to the emergency ward in Everett 15 miles away for observation. Mind you that was at about 2 pm and my friend drove me over and stayed with me until they booked me in. Well at midnight that night I was back to normal(185/90). They released me and I had no way to get home so I waited for my ride to return at 4:00 am. This episode is what caused me to be changed from an NP to a Dr who immediately began to try different things to get a much better result. My bp is now averaging about 120/80 to 135/84. I have lost about 50 - 60 pounds just eating a regular diet but much smaller portions. Last week I went to my kidney Dr and he reduced a medicine and told me my kidney function went from 40% when I last saw him to 58% and he was very happy with those results. The normal standard appointment time of every 3 months is now every 6 months. With everything that has happened this last ten yrs, I feel very fortunate to be alive. As I said at the beginning that it's eerie how we follow our parents in odd ways, you see my Dad died of kidney failure simply because he would not get treatment of any kind! Thank God for all the good things in my life!
