Majbasil reacted to AbuXI in Over & Out
Last 3 weeks been a blast for me. Really enjoyed playing through the day between errands while on leave back in the UK. Thanks to the morning crowd … Totty, Snuller, Raven etc. Night time is great too as our American friends log in.
Big shout out to our admins for dealing with the asshole hacker and the excellent communications back to players to keep us informed.
Be nice to each other and see you next trip back.
One final thanks to those admins stepping down. It wouldn’t work without the time you guys put in.

Majbasil reacted to Totty in What is the command to see all my peripherals attached to my pc?
What cell phone do you have? A lot of them are plug and play these days, plug it in via USB and it will ask for permission for the PC to access it. Then it will appear as a drive, like where C is located and any other memory sticks

Majbasil reacted to Mazdarati in JP Parrot
Hi Idiots,
A couple people asked me to post pics of my parrot JP, I've had him for 39 years now , Everytime I play he gets very vocal and can be heard when I key my mic . Yes that's a very hot pepper he's eating and he's taking a bath in his water bowl.
His breed is a Double yellow head amazon . When I got him at 5 weeks old he was just a ball of skin and pin feathers and I could not think of a good name for him so I call him JP which stands for Just Parrot or on his grumpy days Just prick .

Majbasil reacted to ROCKAPE in I MET RUGGER FINALLY
Ive been a Senior Admin working with Rugger for 18 years, hes been here 20 years and I finally met him in the UK on the 9th May 2025.
It was fantastic to meet him and his family and friends in Lyme Regis Dorset UK.
We had a great night remeniscing everything we've had to deal with in >XI< over all those years......I don't think anyone would believe the stuff we've dealt with and the hard work we've put in to keep this clan going.
we spoke of so many members who are still here.those who left and those who have sadly passed.
It was an honour to meet Rugger and I would not have missed the opportunity to meet this legend.
I also met Sittin Duc and his mates,Edd The Duck and his wife also,Totty and NinjaBazZa ...what a great bunch of people.
If any of you guys want to upload your pics here too it would be great.
Best Regards
ROCKAPE>XI<

Majbasil got a reaction from PHUCKITMAN in A Southern Classic
Honestly, when I saw your title of this, I went to HOT BROWN, convinced that was what you were going to be showing... I lived in Lexington, KY for college, and we went to Columbia Steakhouse all the time. The Hot Brown is what we college kids wanted mostly lol. Never made it myself, but we have a smoker, I should smoke up some turkey and make this for everyone who has no idea what a Hot Brown is here in silly Knoxville. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_Brown OH, I just realized I have not had anything to eat today... no wonder. I am hungry.
Columbia Steak House in Lexington, KY is known for its famous "Hot Brown" and the "Nighthawk" special. It's also considered the oldest restaurant in Central Kentucky, opening in 1948. The restaurant offers a variety of traditional menu items, including steaks, chicken, and seafood, along with their signature dishes. More Details: Hot Brown: A classic Kentucky dish consisting of white bread layered with sliced turkey, ham, a creamy cheese sauce, tomato slices, and bacon. Nighthawk Special: A popular dish featuring an 8-ounce tenderloin smothered in garlic butter, a baked potato, a Diego salad, and homemade rolls with honey butter. Other Specialties: Columbia Steak House also offers crispy Fried Banana Peppers, Lamb Fries, and the Diego salad with garlic and celery seasoning. Location: The restaurant has two locations in Lexington: 201 N Limestone and 2750 Richmond Rd. History: Columbia Steak House has been serving customers since 1948, making it a long-standing institution in Lexington. -

Have you ever tried Tennessee Pride Hot or Sage?
It's my personal favorite, after home-ground.

Adding more fat with butter may seem counterintuitive, but even if you drain some of the sausage fat first, the butter adds a unique richness.
And of course, the flour has to cook long enough to brown & lose its flour taste & contribute its own depth as it absorbs the pork & butter.
The ratios I give is a good starting point.
Post what you think, when you make it.
