Sonovabich reacted to Labob in Johnny Dos Memorial Event Saturday January 25th
That's not a problem SOB I always see Dos and think you must be around here somewhere Miss your humor too. My heart goes out to you. If you were close to Johnny you lost a big piece of life when he passed and as time is the great healer sometimes it takes a lot of time to heal the big wounds eh .

Thank you for thinking of me m8 but unfortunately i don't have the game anymore, i had it on disk but got rid of all those games a while back, must be around 5/6 years since we played that game, about 90% of mine and Johnny's time over the last 4.5 yeas has been playing Rainbow Six Siege, a game Johnny really loved, i am not trying to promote my grief above anyone else here but i think i would find it too hard to go and play it anyway, i am in pieces over Johnny's passing i can't get it out of my head at anytime when i'm alone, and i know Johnny would be ok with me not playing, he would just say it's ok don't worry about it, it's not so much the game playing i will miss with Johnny, with the greatest affection Johnny wasn't very good at most games (mainly down to his vision problems) , i know he will be laughing at this and telling me to stfu, it was just being in Teamspeak with him and talking to him and hearing his voice that i will miss the most, just talking mainly bullshit but that's what it's all about i suppose, one of the saddest thing for me is that for years we always hoped that one day they would release a PC version of "Red Dead Redemption" and when they finally do release it Johnny only managed to play 1.4 hours in about 5 or 6 weeks, there used to be a running joke a few of us had that when a new game came out Johnny would say "The best game ever" well if you are listening Johnny (i am sure you are) i can tell you that Red Dead Redemption really is "The greatest game ever" i am just so sad that we never got to experience it together.

I got your message m8, i replied to Labob (above), Steam told me i had 4 message but when i replied to the first from Nosjp and then went to look for the others it was saying there was an error and i had no notifications, i only know that you are one of the other messages because of this post so i went into my friends list to find your name and read it but apologies to the other two who sent me a message because i really have no idea who they are and where my messages disappeared to.

I played with Johnny a lot of games.
I saw Johnny in person in 2017. Here is the post.
We laughed together (especially when I said "Italiano vero") at the restaurant and then continued to Johnny's house where I also met his wife.
Wonderful people you rarely meet.
Rest in peace Johnny.

First time I've been back on here for 10 years and just heard that Johnny dos has left us and wanted to pay my respect for him. Johnny dos was one of the first people I spoke to on XI some 12 years ago and loved every conversation we had, we had great laughs playing COD 2, Newf, Killa, and yourself Cpt.Tenneal. I still kept in contact with him and am going to miss him very much.......love you Johnny

Hey folks..John passed peacefully this evening surrounded by family. He was comforted by everyone's kind words and prayers during his final days.
To say I am devastated would be an extreme understatement.I worked with and knew John well for 23 years, and in that time I can say that he was one of the funniest fuckers I ever met. Also one of the most generous, kindhearted souls who would gladly give the shirt off his back to complete strangers.
He was my friend, clanmate and brother.
I would like to personally thank each of you for your thoughts and prayers through this. John's wife Charlene and his sons Kevin and Marc and the rest of the family thank you all for your support knowing how much we all meant to John.
Our team has lost another legend, but know that he was his same good natured, good humoured self to the end.
Rest well and be proud that you were a big part of XI brother,Love you..lñm

What can I say other than total shock
I was only speaking to him New Years Eve as he was insisting for days about buying me red dead redemption for helping with his PC, he kept saying I saved him hundreds of dollars etc. I didn't want the game or wanted any gift off him as I knew him for years but he basically said if you don't take it I will sent you a code on a PM on the website. I agreed then went onto TS then New Years Eve and had a chat with him for a bit, he bought me the game and couldn't stay online much longer as he was only a few hours away for his chemo treatment at the hospital. I never heard from him since. ?
Over the years I got to know him well from Battlefield , Insurgency and most recently Rainbow Six. Rainbow Six was his favorite game by far he always said. He didn't have the best eyesight or reactions but still enjoyed the game which was the main thing. Always a guy who would speak to anyone that joined and was always intrigued about what temperature in each city each person was in ?
He was a unique guy, great character and was always fun to play games with.
He will be missed.
RIP Johnny
