I have had the same problem using (2) Nvidia 9800 GTX in SLI and with my current Nvidia GTX 275.  This has been happening to me since I started using a 64 Bit operating system.  I happened to me under Vista 64 and now Windows 7 64.  I have given up on trying to finda solution.  I just live with it, like a case of genital warts.

Wow, that's sad,

You can get a cream or something for Genital Warts, or so Dean says.

for good 64 bit, I'd advise some MacOS..

It might be related to a driver crash...or it's that knifing shit you're doing....

You can always download driversweeper, wipe out all videodrivers related to our card (either nVIDIA or ATI/AMD)...

then reboot, re-install all drivers...

My 2 cents...
