All the power anyone would need and the size would be about right for you I believe. My son was 13 when this picture was taken. You should definately shop around before buying - I did and got this bike for less than $2000.00. Good luck with your shopping and PLEASE be damn carefull learning to ride.

Back in the 70's you could buy a decent smaller street bike that was both easy to learn on and affordable. I really don't understand why this class of motorcycle faded away. They were ideal for women to ride as well due to their relatively light weight. Awards

Top speed is only about 72 mph but thats fast enough for me. Get about 80 mpg city and 100 on hwy. Real quick for a scooter and last. Honda. So if your confident in your manhood. This bike is the way to go. Honda makes a 700 cc but that one will be 13 grand.

Learned to hillclimb, slide & crash in the dirt before I ever set wheels on pavement. That weak little bike taught me a lot about riding. Learned to ride on the street w/a Kawasaki KZ650 & a 500 H1 triple. Since then I've had a shit load of Triumphs, BSA's, Norton's, Ducati's, Shovelheads, Pans, Evo's, and BMW's. Still ride a K100 BMW as a daily, w/100,000miles on the odometer. The only serious injury was a broken collarbone, but I still keep my eyes peeled for morons that can't seem to see motorcycles. It's a life long obsession, just try to make it a long one. Awards
