Actually you were pretty much an ass at first, but later comments kinda softened the whole thing to friendly, humorous jabs. It takes us Yanks a while to "get" British humor..... but I think I understand it better now. People are the generally the same, but cultural differences DO exist. I don't think you are a bad guy at all, but I think maybe you assume the positive aspects need no comment, and feel the need to more verbosely comment on the negative. Having played against you for a while now, I think you are all right..... I WOULD sincerely like to see you hang around. But honestly, my first impression was skewed by the sarcasm & negativity. Just take the time to be friendly & positive, and sometimes negative comments can go unspoken (we Yanks are a little different in that regard), and everything will be fine.
