That will keep you ticking over for a good number of years. To answer your question, yes you could build one cheaper and better, but the time spent looking for the sales, and buidling it, I would say go for this.

My current system is really old, like I am. AMD athlon 64x2 4200+ 3G ram (I have 4 G but I use xP) on an Asus Mb and a9800GTX+ video card. I don't think I can do anything to improve this, the spend would out way the gain.
