I personnaly had a bad experience with AMD Crossfire drivers (last year). I prefer nVidia SLI now.

No SSD? Just a HDD 7200RPM? Undecided

Love the case NZXT Phantom, it's good!

I had bad experiences with both dual graphic setups....Nvidia and AMD

sometimes it works sometimes not LOL

at my current sys the Crossfire with 2x 6970 works awesome....BF3 with Ultra settings and resolution 1920x1080 /+120fps

if you dont want to build a sys on your own it looks like a good buy to me though I dont really like the 6850 1GB cards

too bad you are not able to customize

I think it's very good value for money.  That will keep you ticking over for a good number of years.

To answer your question, yes you could build one cheaper and better, but the time spent looking for the sales, and buidling it, I would say go for this.

Thanks Guys for the comments. My current system is really old, like I am.

AMD athlon 64x2 4200+ 3G ram (I have 4 G but I use xP) on an Asus Mb and a9800GTX+ video card. I don't think I can do anything to improve this, the spend would out way the gain. I have a nice power supply 750watt Silencer Quad red (part of the OCZ group) see this link: Could I use this for a newer system?

http://www.pcpower.com/power-supply/silencer-750-quad-crossfire.html

This is the Case I have, do you think I could still use this case and Power supply?

http://www.bjorn3d.com/articles/Antec_Sonata_PC_Case/277.html

I suppose the new usb ports would be a question but the MB would have slots in the back.

u got almost what i had in one of my previous rig.

for the power supply, i dont think it will be ok, new stuff use other plugs than before and u may face problems to power everything.

for the case, i think u can use it, but wouldnt it be nicer to get a completely new rig ? u will enjoy it way more :)

LOL Sue looks like there is no PSU? maybe its just me who cant find it

dont like this combo deal this much....there are a few parts I wouldnt buy

for gaming the FX-6100 is not the best buy....its slower like my 2 years old i5 750 at overall performance

a 60 GB SSD is wasted money IMHO....go for a 120 GB version at least

cpu cooler....if you go with stock settings and the cpu is not this hot headed the cooler is fine

if you want to OC a little bit in the future go get another one Cool

maybe have a look at this one

not to sound disrespectful but for some people it might be too hard to build it on their own

I have built dozens of rigs for friends and other people but some of them would never be able to setup a really good rig

some people are just interested to buy and play
