Maybe it isn't how high the sky box is... maybe something else is required for the helis. What needs to be in the map for the helis to work?

However its missing the heli leave nodes so they know where to leave the map at when finished.

 

For skybox height, 3500 is the lowest of the stock maps in Bog. Which I would consider a bare minimum. For things like ac130 etc higher is better. If you have tall buildings like in Bloc it would benefit from a higher ceiling also. However if the average center of the map is higher than the origin (0,0,0) then the 3500 will have to be offset from that point. The Highrise map is considerably above zero height for example.

one major glitch in the tunnel corner where you've been sucked in the corner and cant get out.

Okay, I found the glitch in the tunnel and fixed it. Version 2 has the following changes:

 

1) clipped the cliff above the allied spawn so that you can't get on top anymore;

2) raised height of roof on the north side so you can't get up on cliffs and see the tunnels;

3) repaired tunnel glitch where terrain patch was slicing off a corner of the tunnel, causing an area where you could get stuck;

4) added a heli-path so you can use heli perks.

5) added a bunch of exploding barrels in the tunnels, because everyone loves an exploding barrel;

6) updated loadscreen with credits.

 

I will try and get Pete or someone to load it on the beta server.

Yes the game can have only a certain number of entities (players, script models, script origins, heli nodes, triggers, others) at any one time before it crashes. A combination of both what is in the map and in the mod. So it is always best to limit the number of entities to what you really need for the map to work. Not just what looks cool. If you ever get an error about no free entities that is the problem.

no i didn't get any errors but thats what I am afraid would happen if I did the heli paths, the map runs good sofar, it should be on the servers soon.... Rugger has it ;)

Ok I just tested it. Great map! A little bit hard to see people with textures (same than players) but it's funny. Love the tunnel, best idea ever! :thumbsup:

bog dont know if you know it but in one of the tunnels there is a barrel that you can only go round on the right side even though there is more space on the left side.

feels as if there is a clip there that is extended just a little long into the tunnel wall.
