hi ya idiots.

 

recently got my self a new master hdd, as i ha a stop start error, on win 7. instead of a reformat i can now play without the problems, BUT cod4 had a D3dx9_34dll error. not a problem, but i reinstalled cod4, and now i need to find my old files from win7 on other hdd, and i have NO idea where to look. i waaaaant my xp back...

C: local disk....program files X86......activision......cod4.......players.....profiles.....choose your user....config.cfg/ however I think this only helps you put your configuration back in, not your rank and loadout....

 

edit: its the config_mp.cfg

at least you won't have to remap everything if you do that is...

I don't think you can get that back unless you had saved it...like from our downloader that would allow you to save all that info, sorry I am not real sure Bazza :(

as long as u find my computer C: program files / activision / call of duty 4 / {players} u should b able to copy n paste your hole player folder over top of the new instalations PLAYER folder keeping your lvl .. your guns .. your stats.. w/e.. but .. remaping is no biggie compared to spending a yr to lvl lol .. im sure u can recopy maps n such but.. hell .. new install.. fresh copy.. ide just let them download ..
