Hey guys...

When you get a UE and try to go back into the server/game you just creashed out of, you get that "duplicate q-port" error. Is there a quick way to reset that before you go back into the game, or is that something you just have to wait on the server to time out for you?

Most times i have to wait for it to release my player from the server

Or

Just ask a admin to kick you

But after some time it should kick you and free up so you can rejoin.

Sometimes i found that codwwmp was still running in my task manager.

So I have to kill that and it seems to speed the rejoin up.

I just wait for it to clear out. Asking a admin to kick you is another idea, but lol I been asked that and when I did it made the wait longer for the person. I believe it was like a 5 min wait, so IMO I'd wait till it clears on it's own.

Thanks for all the replies, everyone!

I suspected that it was just something that had to time out on its own. Someone once told me there was a file you could delete locally, but maybe it's best to just let it be. After all, two minutes isn't an eternity, right?

@Labob - It's any of them, really. Between the Modern Weapons server and the Freeze Tag server - the two I'm on most frequently - I'd say the Mod Wepons server pulls the trigger on me (lol) a little more often. Knowing that there's a timeout on the server that auto-kicks someone who's crashed out tells me there's probably nothing I can do locally to speed up the re-join. And after Beers posted the links to all the maps for me, crashes between maps after an earlier download has all but disappeared. It's the occasional mid-game crash that's frustrating. But I'm playing probably 19 out of 20 maps crash-free at this point. It's all (mostly) good. :)

Yes it has been running alot better since Labob and I have went to the Main redirect and checked file sizes on the maps and made sure the file sizes on the servers matched the sizes on the redirect. Just which there was a way to do that automatically. Anyone? Someone should know how to do this automatically using File Zilla. Tater Tats how about you guys?

That's interesting. I'll give that a try ans see what happens. Doesn't sound like the code to blow up a house anyway...
