Cairns is great! Will list all the great things 1. You have the great barrier reef! Now you could do a pontoon trip or spend the day on one of the islands (Fitzroy or Green Island) I've done all and all are great! You will need at least 1 whole day to do this or even 2. 2. Kuranda by skyrail! Catch the skyrail from Cairns to Kuranda and back (Kuranda is a village in the rainforest) its so beautiful, lots of markets with local produce and handmade delights! Going by skyrail is a must to see the beauty from above. 3. Crystal cascades! This was a place that was a local treasure (tourist didn't know about it) Web definitions The Crystal Cascades is a relatively unspoilt section of Freshwater Creek, with numerous waterfalls and swimming holes popular with the locals and tourist. 4.
