No they have no shame.... it is sad when the population if having any knowledge will choose the remake as the original. Sad state off affairs. What is wrong with people?

And this twat.... who does he think he is? A carpenter? Oh that is later in his career. Probably copies other peoples work their as well.

There don't seem to be a lot of talent around anymore, what i mean by talent is people who can actually play a musical instrument like a Guitar or Saxaphone or  Drums etc, instead they just use Drum machines or program some sounds into a computer, i hate seeing bands or groups performing and not using anything other then a programmed keyboard or crap like that, it says it all now that some of the biggest names in music over here in Britain and maybe Europe are not even musicians but just Deejays or is it MC's they like to be called now.  :no

Gentlemen the name of the game while I agree wit you is MONEY! They really don't care what you say or feel about them as long as they make their money. What I mean is the programmed canned music is by far cheaper than real live art! So they.......! This will stop when the public stops buying the animated stolen art of someone else! HXTR your new calling should be to make the public aware of this huge theft happening right under their nose!

All this "Dance" or is it still "rave" music sounds the same to me Johnny, it seems it just manufactured so a lot of kids who are spaced out on "legal" highs can dance all through the night, lets face it some these kids are so high they have no idea what they are listening to, never seems to be any vocals either or if there is it just sounds like the same girl wailing on every track, i don't think i could name one song/act in the UK  top 20 at this moment, in fact i know i can't, haha i only listen to channels on the radio that play old music, i just found a great one on Digital Radio last week, Smooth 70's, only plays music from the 1970's i love it baby :clapping:

Actually this could be a good idea for a new forum "Grumpy Old Gits" wonder if Rugger will go for it, we could have a forum where you have to be over 50 to be in and we can whine to our hearts content, i think it will be popular.

Its RAP You can blame run dmz they did the first one with an Aerosmith song Walk this way in 1985 and it is supposed to be an honor to have your song put in a RAP song. Most Rappers are not song writers so they need a song to build off. Take it for what it is and enjoy.

Now I could see myself dancing to this all night long. They were ahead of their time.... Chemical Brothers as well.

I been to a few raves in the early 90's. You would have to be on X to do what they do today. Same beat over and over. Serotonin junkies.

Grumpy... I am down right puttered. Make me want to kick Miley Cyrus.

Mush in mush out. Back in the day when i did lots of drugs.... i went to school high yes but I remember getting some kind of education that was not exactly up to industry standards BUT!!!! my music tastes trumps these kids today. A good things is I see many kids still love Pink Floyd. Their might be hope for mankind after all.

Maybe because FNM has so much original content.

I don't have any problems with Artistes doing "remakes" or cover versions, it's all this rap crap where they just steal the tune and add some different lyrics that are usually just a load of crap lol

While I do not quality for the Grumpy Old Gits forum lol (only 26), I do agree that music is shit today.  I prefer music that is older than I am.  I want quality.

If you want a recent band that has done lots of covers, but not in an attempt to steal them, check out The Derek Trucks Band.  High quality musicians at the top of their game.  Derek Trucks is also in the Allman Brothers Band.  They do write their own stuff, but when they do covers, they do make it their own but still pay homage to the original songs and artists.  Great example is this:
