We are having a Canada Mexico match of soccer here in Vancouver at the end of the month... Women's match... When we hosted concacaf last year we sold out every game. I wish our local MLS team would get their crap together, as they have an excellent fan base called the southsiders.

Yes @Sonovabich we are playing Chile and Germany in November friendlies (15th and 19th IIRC).

I would refer my honourable friend @Unchileno to the result in February when the Brazilians came to

play.  We beat them 2-1 so should manage an extra goal or two against your lot...

Chile I am very glad for you! I know what it feels like to not live where you can see your hometown and favorite teams are. Over the years when they happened (scheduled) :) to come to town I was active in trying to procure a couple of tickets and was able to see legends the likes of John Elway play when he was on his last legs so to speak! Enjoy and show your patriotism for your team I always love it when the visitors do just that very thing

Why does everyone fall into the this myth that every Brazil team is fantastic, truth is this Brazil team are not fantastic, pretty ordinary really, yes they will have home advantage which will help but also they will be under immense pressure from their fans and i don't think they have the players to cope with that.

Myth? They won 5 world cups, recently defeated Spain 3-0 in the confederation cup. Is the country that exports the highest number of soccer players all over the world. Players? Neymar, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Marcelo, Alves,Fred, Fabiano etc etc.

Soccer is almost a religion in Brazil, they play on the beaches, parks, on the roads.

My favorite teams to win the 2014 World Cup are Brazil, Argentina, the Netherlands and Germany. Watching any of these teams play is always a pleasure.
