With the inevitable computerization of the transmission and computers to diagnose problems there are not too many young students with the "Drive" to learn "old school techniques. Hemps Posted November 24, 2014 Member ID: 1482 Group: ***- Inactive Clan Members Followers: 37 Topic Count: 120 Topics Per Day: 0.02 Content Count: 2018 Content Per Day: 0.40 Reputation: 1440 Achievement Points: 15303 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 06/05/10 Status: Offline Last Seen: March 15 Birthday: 07/13/1967 Device: Windows Author Share Posted November 24, 2014 (edited) so far all is good, finally got it all legal with plates and insurance, got the lights all figured out, pulled apart the ac/heating unit (the former home to some mice) and cleaned it all up inside and out(was a bit of a pain but not to bad) got the tires i needed to replace on. just need to get the tail pipe so it not so load inside. been driving it and all seems to be good! engine runs smooth and the trans feeling good also. pretty sure im going to need to get new shocks, but going to wait a bit and get them with the lift kit, not going to big, 1inch body and a 2.5" suspension lift. but it is only a 2.5 and is a bit of a slow poke and i dont see many miles on the expressway. but it should be a good driver for work and i do kind of like all the after market jeep add-ons out there, pretty cool!
