Sometimes I cannot even get to one of my weapons (stuck in a loop between the ppsh and a knife is very very annoying when I don't want the ppsh but my sniper. I have seen the knife perk used in the IAF server and it works well; I don't have to always carry a knife and it costs no points at all so what that means is that it an optional choice for the players that want to use the knife. animalxi and Bullet 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... I can think of about 5 people who use them on a regular basis and the ones who complain the loudest tend to be those who win most of the time, so the perks kind of even things out for them and make the game more fun. The plane on our current rotation of DM maps is nearly impossible to get and doesn't work very well on most of them so I don't care if it goes. When I asked about adding the knives a few months ago I didn't expect them to be a weapon choice on every map. I agree with UK that it's kind of a pain in the butt rotating between three weapons and would be better if the knives were part of a menu choice like the other perks since they are used so rarely. I don't mind the perks to be honest as they do add a twist to the game but as I rarely use them then I can't say much. They do piss me off now and then which is why I don't want them in all honestly and this is contradicting my first post, but I am happy either way. Perhaps we list the perks and let people choose what ones to keep and what ones to get rid of? That way we can find a neutral ground between wanting to get rid of them and also keep them? The knife is great when there are only a couple players in a server and we go knife and nades only, but most of the time in a full server there is just no time to use a knife. As far as perks I don't care either way but please don't lose the landmines......I love them almost as much as the fire nades........hmmmm....can we get the fire nades added????
