Check the windows disc out it may have a few scratches in it that you can clean up.... I had the same problem once and used another windows setup disc.. it stopped the problem. Hope that helps.

When you say it won't do it, what actually happens?  Do you have your bios boot sequence set to CD first, or are you pressing an F key to manually select?  After that what happens?  Does it recognise the disk?

If you had a mac there would be an app for that . Get a new HD cheapest way to fix it. Still confused how a scrached disk would give you a blue screen in game.

tsw 8.5, didnt I send you spinwrite? Also are you overclocking at all. If you are try saving your bios setting and reset the to defaults. Set your 1st boot device to the cd. The problem could also be the cd/dvd itself or the disk. I know that it is flustrating but its kind of a process of elimination. I have MANY cd/dvd drives that are bad...even new ones as that may be a good place to start. Also kinda had the same problem repairing a laptop yesterday and ran spinwrite on the drive. It found a bad sector on the drive and repaired it. Laptop fixed and ready to be picked up. If you need anything hit me up. If you give up mail it to me and I will fix it for you!
