I generally dont keep stuff in the my pictures folder. Nothing worth saving anyways. Just another one of those nice features that win10 does that didnt tell anybody.

I've updated both my laptops and my main PC now and non of which I can activate. Any ideas why? It says they are not valid keys. It installed with the keys how would they not be valid?

Ok I went ahead and upgraded my main Gaming PC to Windows 10 Pro.

I had a few issues, like above user I had to install Logitech Gaming Software program afterwards , as well as my Realtek onboard Audio driver, and then I got a dll License error when launching BF4. I fixed this by just downloading the corresponding dll from this package,

https://login.live.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=12&ct=1439113605&rver=6.5.6509.0&wp=MBI&wreply=https:%2F%2Fwww.microsoft.com%2Fen-au%2Fdownload%2Fconfirmation.aspx%3Fid%3D30679&lc=1033&id=74335

After a quick restart, BF4 then works.

Dont forget to turn off all your send to Microsoft crap with Customize your settings or else they will know you are a fooking Idiot!

Did complete wiping the hd's then a new install win 7,  then a clean upgraded straight to win 10.  F.Y.I. Only had  quirks 2, 1st. wifi settings has disappeared and cannot add any wifi device's, this is a noted MS global issue, 2nd, sometimes have to reboot 2 twice to get internet connection.

Other than that I really like window's 10, no problem with either cod2 or cod4 in win 10. In fact I didn't even have to reload, just copied  them from the backup exterior HD to the PC wiped 2nd internal  drive attempting to utilize my primary solid state drive for important operating /application files

You can now download and make a USB or DVD copy for a clean install.

5 minutes and I am 34% done.

Sounds like you did not do an upgrade. Sounds like you did a clean install. If you are having to Activate after the fact.. you did something wrong.

MS is suppose to do a hardware ID thing so you never have to activate again but I tested it and it does not work. You will have to upgrade and choose clean install where it renames you winodws to winodws.old. If you wipe the drive or partitions and start fresh it won't activate.... even after a successful upgrade.

I am getting sick of installing Windows 10 already. :)
