Ok heres the deal i need some parts to finish my PC so i can get back to sniping you skanks. Here's a composite list of what i have, whats on my wish list and if you have something close in price or performance please feel free to PM me. I live in the US and willing to pay for item and shipping happily. On bigger purchases i might not have cash right away but i will buy it if you don't already sell that item when i save the money.

Intel, buy an second handed i7 3770k or a i5 3570k. That will beat that CPU with one finger in the nose.

That is almost my build exactly so ill save you some time and tell you to buy a more powerful PSU as my 650 wasnt  good enough and died quickly

I dont know if I want to sell it yet. Fucker was expensive as hell.  Not sure If I want to get a new chip or just get a new mobo. I will let you know.

youl need a more expensive psu  power hog with amd also a non stk cpu cooler.if u build intell which will perform way better  and wont overheat-no aftermarket  cpu cooler needed either

 

btw that evo212 is pretty fkn huge.hardly fit in my sons case-made it fit

If you're not going down the intel route, I'll say this.

 

Your CPU will bottleneck your GFX card so you won't get the most out of it. Its similar to the chip I have and I have performance issues compared to the exact same card in an intel machine.  Also, you're going to need a better PSU. 750W is an absolute minimum.

amd's bottleneck is they still use pcie 2.0 

 

intel has been using pcie 3.0 for a while

 

 

i built my kid a mini cube unit in 2014 with a10 cpu and a R9 270x 4gb  video card and there is no game out there that bottle necks it

Yeah i know about the bottle neck of amd but its what im building until i csn fully convert to intel I7. I wont settle for Less so yeah lol thanks everyone for their help. I just would rather buy locally from idiots before i buy from new egg or amazon.

I'll probably be selling my board, cpu (stock cooler, as I'm keeping the water cooler) and 12gb Ram. Depends on how fast I can pay credit card and then get cash for the i5 6600.

FX6300 cpu, m5a78l-m board and 12gb Ram (4gb low spec brand) and 8gb Kingston hyper x.

 

Looking for £125 plus postage and packaging in Europe, 140 elsewhere in the world. Its less than 3 months old as well

Please have patience and go for an (old) Intel.

 

I am saving a lot of money with my rig, because I underclock my CPU and still can run my games on Ultra. It depends of course how 'old' the game is. For example my i7 3770k. It runs at 0.7Volts @2700Mhz. My mem runs @1866 but those can do 2133Mhz. My stock TDP of my CPU is 77Watts compared to AMDs TDP. Sure you have 1000 cores on a AMD chip, but what for? No games are supporting 4 or more cores so that is basically Marketing. I pull with my 3770k, which you can overclock it to 4,5Ghz or higher I don't, a 220Watts from my wall. That is with all my drives, CPU, MEM and my old videocard. My other 'internet' pc pulls 100Watts max with a simple i3 3220.

 

You have to do the math as far in performance and what you get. My energy bill is important and I get no lag and still pull nice FPS's in my games. AMD is for now nice for consoles and they are good at that. I was a AMD user untill the Core2Duo came out from Intel.

 

Good luck with an AMD with a TDP os 120/130Watts that is still slower then my i7 3770k. Check for a i5 3570k.

Yeah i see the stats xray but truthfully at this moment ill have to sacrifice. Price wise amd is a good start, now like i said i want to eventually move to intel but the fx 8350 is about $150 and intel I7 3770 is running between $350-$500. Now im not knocking intel for the simple fact i do see they are superior, but unfortunately my pride wont let me just settle. If im going to get something i want the best so i dont have to upgrade in a year. Im already spending close to $1,000 on this pc and realistically i dont want to spend more so im going to have to draw a line somewhere. I appreciate all the advice and help honestly thank you all.

Even a simple 3570k out performs the AMD. Where is that 300 dollars coming from?
