So sad but oh so true!!!

I know I don't deal with tech in my drywall and painting buisness but it is next to impossible to find any younger person that actually can and is willing to do any sort of hardish.... labor. It is so sad!!

My generation just wants the easy life built on the backs of those before us and it really sucks. It's technology that does it. Yes, my generation are becoming very adept at technology but most of them won't know how to remove their hand off their device unless you cut it off! They've forgotten what hard work and effort is and depend ultimately on me magical box in their hand.

In our country it takes surgery to remove the phones from girls left hands, so they only now have one arm. A friend's son, out of work for 4 years got sent to train as a plasterer, his comment 'too much hard work' still unemployed. No one wants to leave home or do anything physical any more, but those that do will make a fortune, they deserve it.

Too much hard work?! Mate, he should be fucking pleased he had the opportunity to get a bloody job. A job is a job, no matter now bad it may seem; you have food on the table, clothes on your back and a roof over your head.
I have a part time job while I am studying and although the job isn't the most glorious, it's given me responsibility, a feel of independence and of course I have food on the table, clothes on my back and a roof over my head. My generation just don't seem to know what responsibility even if it painted itself purple, danced naked on top of a harpsichord singing "responsibility is here again."
