Hello folks. I'm thinking I can us my Corsair box, Corsair 850 watt Power supply and for now my Geforce RTX 3060 Gigabyte Aorus 12G video card. Don't be shocked at these Canadian prices.

What are your thoughts please? I'm thinking about trying AMD again.

@WeednFeed I just went through this upgrade.  I went from a first generation Ryzen 7 CPU to the Ryzen 7 9800X3D.  I am super happy with it.

I don't really follow tech like I should.  When time comes for an upgrade, I normally just research the current stuff.  AMD and Intel have always been pretty close.  I went from a 4 core to a 12.   The m2 storage is fast.   I noticed a huge bump in performance when switching from an SSD.  I feel like these recent upgrades have made the most noticeable differences throughout the years.  After most upgrades, the PC seems a bit faster, maybe more FPS.   But now, it's damn fast and I love it.   I hope you enjoy your new setup!

After more research the above post is what I've ordered! I wanted to make sure the Motherboard was Pcie 5.0. The 5.0 will be compatible with the current high end video cards. I also required 4 SATA connections to utilize 2 SSDs and a couple of HDDs.

Now the wait.

Hey Duffy, just planning for the future. I don't want to update every few years. My last/current pc is almost 10 years old. In ten years I might be dead lol.

I believe that motherboard has a cooler/heatsink for the SSD. Although your option likely does a better job cooling

beware ask for sheet media

The T.I.M.sheet that comes with makes it work better for are different heights of chips.   i used the membrain type  for got 2 but one was paste.

i don't like using paste on memory at all, fine for CPU, GPU for the heat spreader protects for shorts for most paste are conductive.
