  1. Wow! Nice pictures! Looks like you have a nice size garden plot. And yes, we freeze and can a lot of our produce. Gardening is a great hobby as it gets you close to the earth.

    Hitting The Stall

9 pound bone-in pork shoulder 16 hours into baking at 225F Internal temperature loitering at 173F. Going for pulled pork. Curious to see how long it takes to reach 205F Internal temp. without a crutch or cutting-up.

  12. Home gardening is like telling the big corporations and the government, "I don’t need you to eat!" When you grow your own food, you don’t have to rely on stores, big farms, or even paying taxes on what you grow. It’s a way of saying "no thanks" to the rules that tell you what to do and how to spend your money. You’re doing it your way, sticking it to the man, and showing that you can take care of yourself without needing their control. Trump's Tariffs and Trudeau's Carbon Tax does not apply...to my home garden, YET!

  18. @Sancho_ Very nice I’m in NB what province are you in? With that many tomato plants you must be preserving them or treating a lot of people! I’ve been known to plant a bit of veggies as well. As you said it’s very relaxing. Took a break last year and hopefully I get into the garden again..

  19. I have something similar with slightly higher walls. Yes, it make the job of transferring in and out much easier. My other option is that I use a small radiator type heater to keep the temperature above zero in the greenhouse. I have a wireless thermometer that keeps me informed as to the temperature in the greenhouse and also records the record high or low....so I know how cold it got overnight.
