On Monday we had a grand celebration to honor fallen firefighter Trevor Brown. We had over 3,000 first responders at his service. We filled Cornerstone Chapel to it's absolute gills. There wasn't a dry eye in the house, and it was spectacular. I really love my fire and ems family. Here is a post I made on the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company facebook page on Monday night. I feel every word of it. It's just a short video I made from cameras I mounted on the engine carrying his remains. It's just the arrival at Cornerstone Chapel. But man does it tell a story.....yours truly is on the left side at 1:03 with his face stuck in his camera....what else is new? "Brotherhood and Sisterhood. And to top it all off, I found out that one of our past Chief's passed away this morning. His will be the third funeral my company has held in as many months....

I'm coming to say hello, since I've been playing on your XI server, I've finally decided to register on the forum and come say hello.

Was a rough week last week but it ended good! Got out of Hospital, onto the golf course (only 9 holes at a time, building energy back) and out to a concert last night. Concert was amazing, got to go see my 2nd favorite band The Lazys, went with the lead singer and girlfriend of my FAVORITE band Monster Truck! And I got to eat my 1st real meal!!! Ramen!!! the drummer of The Lazys sent me a message saying he had a gift for me, all the members were checking in on me last week and were so happy to see me there and took time to chat, was great, The drummer made me a custom skin for my wall, thats me, and those are my teeth and the name of their newest single Rattle Them Bones was so good just to feel normal for a night again!!!!

Some of you have probably seen the reports of the tragedy that not only happened in my neighborhood (5 houses down!) but also struck my firefighter family last night. Many of you may (or may not) know that I have been volunteering at the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company for the past 15 years. Last night my wife and I were finishing our dinner when I noticed a dispatch on my cell phone for an outside gas leak just up the street from my house. These are generally routine calls, however, last night was anything but normal. Our crews arrived on scene to find an underground 500 gallon propane tank leaking. As they normally do, they request a hazardous materials response to assist with these types of calls. Within seconds the home literally exploded. Our house shook like a plane crashed on it. I bolted out front and saw the huge plume of smoke and a fireball that was taller than the trees. I immediately knew what happened. As a company photographer I grabbed my boots and my camera and bolted. I was there in less than 3 minutes after the blast. It was literally like a war zone. We lost a brother last night. And 7 others from my fire company were severely injured. A few were released this morning, but others remain in the hospital. Please say a prayer for them all..... I want to thank those of you that reached out to me this morning. You have no idea how much that means to me. My wife and I, and our house are fine. We are devastated at the loss of our beloved friend firefighter Trevor Brown. And we are anxious to get the rest of our firefighters out of the hospital. Please keep them all in your prayers.... Just seen a post over on F4H,s facebook page that they got word he passed...Has anyone got word on him ? Seems he was last active 1/2022...I did ask if they could find out more info "Found out the other day that someone we gamed with sadly passed away, some of us that have been here since the beginning will remember him. His gaming name was BuddyChrist and he was a hoot and was always laughing and joking around. Even though he hadn't played in the server for a long time he will someone that is remembered for his character. Rest easy old friend."

Here is a video we pulled together from the silent procession on Tuesday if you're interested in seeing it. It's almost 7 minutes long. I had put two GoPros on the truck that we had in the procession plus photographers from all over the route. Trevor's funeral will be Monday March 4th. I am sure it will be all over the news.
