That was my project between 1988-1999.
A 1945 Ford GPW.
In the first restoration I made it rust free and roadworthy.
With that I was on June 6th, 1994 for the 50th D-Day anniversary at Omaha Beach in Normandy. I drove up and down the beach. A short time later the body was totally rusted and I started the second restoration.
This time I completely overhauled the engine, gearbox, axles, frame, brakes and body.
Oh yes, I also completely restored a Harley WLA from 1942 during this time.
Then when I was done I got married and had no more eyes for my hobby and sold Jeep and Harley for a ridiculous price....WOW! Thats some beautiful vintage stuff..... Great Story

I want to wish everyone a Happy New year!
I hope everyone has been well, missed you gals and Idiots a lot especially all my fellow admins and mods. I know you all missed me!
I've been missing for a while due to some big projects that have basically taken up all my time. Including several big trips with my family to
Dominican Republic
Bahamas
Costa Rica
London and Paris for Christmas and New Years
I've also embarked on a new hobby that I wanted to do a long time ago restoring and customizing a vintage (1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000). I'll post pictures in the forums of the car for you automotive enthusiasts.
Looking forward to getting back into the games

I’ve never done much with hvac. Need a little help.
Last night my sons room started leaking water out of the vent. I went into the attic and the ac drain line was blowing a LOT of air and a little water out of the T break. The T break does not have a cap on it. I’m thinking it should? Not glued, but something? And how much air normally blows through this? Seems like more than it should be.
Also, from what I’ve researched so far.. it looks like the installed the P trap after the T break.. is that wrong? Bad install maybe?
I had the system replaced maybe 6 years ago. I haven’t noticed this issue until now.
In the picture below, the P trap is at the bottom of the 2nd line, near the plywood. Then below that is my sons ceiling, which had a good amount of water on it.. also the vent is just right of this picture.. hence the water leaking from it.
Hi more than likely its clogged with sludge (slime) best ways to mitigate this problem are the following
1. a little chlorine on a regular scheduled will help keep clean
2. Compressed air blown directly into pipe always works
3. High pressure water hose jet nozzle attached to standard garden hose using a rubber sleave hose section over PVC as a coupling also works well you should see a lot of slime come out somewhere in the yard.
4. They sell a float sensor that goes attached to Tee that prevents the leaking and flooding issues by shutting down AC
If you need instructions or pics I can always send them to you

Hey buddy hang in there we always enjoy playing with you!
Have they given you any options for eyesight? as we get older, we all go through things don't let that stop you from doing the things you like there's always some time to recover, modify and help you heal you just have to have the will and mentality to move forward. Have you thought of doing Lasik? I had it done and it helped tremendously don't know if you're a candidate for it.

Thanks for the remembrance! Let's never forget the price they have paid to keep us free.

Well, I was debating whether to get the 3rd booster and felt it might be better to wait till it starts peaking again in the fall. WRONG!! Contracted it (probably at my daughter's graduation and I feel like crap. Slowly getting better though. For those of you and WAW I miss playing you guys. Hopefully back in 4-5 days. (like most MDs I am a lousy impatient patient). For everyone. You still need to use masks indoors and if not vaccinated DO IT. Stay safe!
Hope you feel better soon! miss playing with you Doc

Hi Everyone, my dealings with Dell computers in the past is that most of their boards are proprietary and use proprietary power supplies. Not sure if this has changed you might want to triple check before hooking anything to it. I could be wrong.
