Get well soon, Count Dukoo. Pneumonia is nothing you want to take lightly; I had it myself a coupla years ago, and I got it while I was fighting the flu. Pneumococcus bacillus (all you Google freaks that like to catch my minor errors and miniscule omissions can jump on this . . lol?), I believe, is the bacteria that causes bacterial pneumonia, and it is an opportunistic bug that likes to capitalize on lungs that have been recently-ravaged by the influenza virus. I've never had pneumonia until that time two years ago, and I'll tell you--when you can't get enough oxygen while breathing, it's very scary. Take those meds (which, I hope, include an expectorant to help loosen the mucus in your lungs), drink lots of (non-alcoholic) fluids, get plenty of rest, and try the old "towel-over-your-head-suspended-over-a-bowl-of-steaming-water trick.
