The old K-model Kohlers had external points & condensers, very nice to work on. If you treated them nice, they almost never needed attention. The solenoid is an electromagnet. Attracts a steel plate attached to the governor. Had to rev up the hand drill numerous times just to watch the plate swing back & forth. Fun for all ages.

All terminals powered a drill, haven't put the multi-meter to them yet, but it responds to it's solenoid, and idles down. Ordered a carb kit, the o-ring & gaskets are dried up junk. Already have friends wanting the engine, we'll see.

Got me m8, my supply & wash water are line pressure. Clean water is stored to holding, which I can adjust with an air assisted bladder. Clean water runs through separate faucets. Never paid attention to flow rates, cause I didn't care.

Sorry Loader, I empty my recycle bin frequently. I just started COD2 a couple times after the error, and it told me (eventually) which map was the problem. I got the black screen at first too. 

Always loved his characters in whatever movie/show he was in.

I had the same issue a few days ago, it finally told me which map was the offender. Got rid of it and good to go.
