Next, look at content, now that we have established that the source of said article above was produced by a far right wing propaganda machine...  GLEN BECK  (uck)  A snake oil salesman if I have ever seen or heard one.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glenn_Beck

Yes, indeed there is a problem!  As what happened to Germany in the 1930's (Nazism, Hitler, Dictatorships, Far Right Extremism to which includes Japan), it is happening, has happened, and can happen here in the USA, as well as other 1st world countries.  As far as the amount to be spent the above article says $700,000,... I would be willing to bet that amount is much higher than that.   I say this alot, humans are the most dangerous species on earth.  As long as there are folks trying to stomp out others "freedom" to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness by suppressing say, women's rights, or LGBTQ rights, or the will of the majority to vote in their political leaders, well then we do have a problem.  If the far right groups are using gaming platforms to recruit, indoctrinate and subjugate others, well we do have a problem now don't we?   Dangerous times when we elect greedy, selfish idiots into office.  2 cents  :offtopic:

Maj, why do you even look at Wiki for anything anymore? The founder himself said his site has been hijacked by radicals that show no tolerance for anything that they disagree with. It's become a propaganda voice, nothing more. Certainly not a site I would use for fact checking.

  2. One thing most can't wrap their heads around is time. Time slows down around great mass. Time slows down with velocity. When we look at a celestial event, like a quasar, we are seeing things that may be happening rather close to our personal time frame, because the event is slowed down by mass. It may take thousands of our years for material to reach the surface of a black hole, while in its' time frame it's milliseconds. Hard to calculate when there are no benchmarks to go by for a universal noon or midnight. That's why I smile when it's claimed we "know" how much mass is in the universe. Humility comes in handy, it allows you to admit you're wrong, and keeps your mind open for new avenues of thought.

A lot of us have surmised the "big bang" was too full of holes, and needed too much patching to hold water. You can't argue with established academia, they won't allow heresy to poke holes in their sacred beliefs. Maybe now questions against "dark" matter might make inroads. Doubt it, science has been enslaved by government grants to the point of addiction.

At least a new light is being shown, lets hope darkness doesn't pinch it off.

Yea but 'Far Right' to you Pete starts with Homer Simpson, there is apparently only 'Far Right' for anyone disagreeing with Liberal/Socialist rhetoric, aka 'The Far Left'

Once you sign up for the left turn only club, you're screwed. They don't allow dissent, discussion, or opposing thoughts to anything they come up with. No backing up either, just like a rabbit trap. In for a penny, in for a pound, clear sailing to the gates of Hell. No thanks, I'd rather admit it's raining, instead of staring up until I drown.

  5. Always tossed batteries into my boats based on CCA. Put batteries in forklifts according to Amp hours. Duh, when I tried matching up a couple batteries to run a redi-line generator it dawned on me cold cranking amps don't mean a damned thing to a deep cycle battery. Reserve capacity (minutes of draw @ 25amp) will tell you a lot more about what a battery can provide over time, along with Ah (amount of hours a battery can provide a 1 amp draw). Was charging some deep cycles I had laying around, that had run trolling motors well (in series, as well as by themselves) and I noticed one battery was pulling a lot of amperage off the charger. Exide 1000cca, but only has 115 minutes of reserve. Damn, that thing won't provide enough wattage to run a Redi for an hour. A  690cca w/101 AH has double the capacity. Live & learn, that's why I'm an idiot.
