    it's called ADMINING. One of the previous admins did nothing about it. Not sure why he ever was one to begin with if you can't police the server. It's like being in the military when you are a pacifist - makes no sense. I don't show up there as much as I used to, but Budman does a good job when he is ingame. The issue is that when the asshats are there there is usually no admin. Find one if you can on the site or other server and give them a heads up. Maybe we should consider some regular ACE players to become Admins? Don't know if that is an option or not.....

    it's usually the last change you made before the issue started... definately sounds like that 'used ram' is to blame seeing later posts that now indicate you used 2 different types of RAM in there... big no no.

    with this new info, I believe you have a failing drive. Normal life for a hard drive is 3-5 years. You are quite beyond that threshhold, and SMART can tell when a drive goes bad. What did the tools tell you? Bad blocks on there?

    If the ram turns out to not be the issue.... If you are having the issue and your son isnt playing the same games, its not the internet connection. You need to check your ethernet port on your PC if you are wired. If you are playing on wireless, well thats likely the issue. You also may want to check out the vid card. If you have a spare ethernet card i would install it and try playing from that connection, same goes for the vid card if you have a working spare.

    How about you buy the wireless for YOU and let them use cheap wired ones since they trash em?     I'm with Chileno if the random spawn issue cant be resolved, just pull it I say... the map is good but the spawns make it unenjoyable to play AND IT TAKES FOREVER TO GET THRU sounds to me like that guy shudda been banned already, especially if he is not XI

    Lag is pretty bad in there today FYI One guy knifed me from what appeared to be 5 feet away, having issues getting anything to hit from an entire clip too.
