Dont we have multiple MW2 servers for redirect? can we try a different mod on each one?

with this new info, I believe you have a failing drive. Normal life for a hard drive is 3-5 years. You are quite beyond that threshhold, and SMART can tell when a drive goes bad. What did the tools tell you? Bad blocks on there?

If the ram turns out to not be the issue.... If you are having the issue and your son isnt playing the same games, its not the internet connection. You need to check your ethernet port on your PC if you are wired. If you are playing on wireless, well thats likely the issue. You also may want to check out the vid card. If you have a spare ethernet card i would install it and try playing from that connection, same goes for the vid card if you have a working spare.

How about you buy the wireless for YOU and let them use cheap wired ones since they trash em? I'm with Chileno if the random spawn issue cant be resolved, just pull it I say... the map is good but the spawns make it unenjoyable to play AND IT TAKES FOREVER TO GET THRU sounds to me like that guy shudda been banned already, especially if he is not XI

Lag is pretty bad in there today FYI One guy knifed me from what appeared to be 5 feet away, having issues getting anything to hit from an entire clip too.

I agree that the CI's are still there in the older mod, and Idont think the new mod is to blame. There are a lot who would like to see the new mod back, and some who prefer the older one as well. Any way we could run them both? I don't know if there are some servers we have that are empty a lot or not.... I am glad to hear the mod switch is not due to some of the recent "dissatisfaction" by some members. Thanks again guys for all you do, it is well appreciated! PS - I miss my SMAW lol

Is there any way to scroll an ingame message to the players in the server that lets them know whats up? Just curious. ;-)
