Very important!! - do not ask for or expect any changes to this mod. It is 'as is' and not one created by Sammy. 
Also, spawns are MAP SPECIFIC. They can possibly be changed, but only by a mapper.

Usually, when you come out of spawn protection, you have to raise your weapon. Takes a second and in the past some have complained about it. During this time, normally, you cannot shoot but can be shot at. However the trick is to bypass the raising so that the instant you are out of spawn protection.... since you know the timer... it snap raises aiming down the sights. So you can stand right in front of a player and the instant spawn protection reaches 0, bang.
Those that dont know the trick, which exploits an oversight in the game, cant do this and are at a disadvantage. Or others simply dont because they think its unfair. Spec some people and you will see some do it.

I shelled out for the game last nite and got a couple of rounds in after install.
I made it to #24 my 1st round, but I didn't even get to fire a shot - lol  Still learning the mechanics and controls, but having a blast so far.
I will check out TS for anyone playing  after work today to see if anyone wants to squad up.  I've been watching some videos at work, but any tips are appreciated!

See that the thing I've always had great asus boards all my old ones are in the kids houses running plex servers and one is real old two. Same goes for kingston ram I've never had a problem so I went with the ones I know . I'll be honest here though I've always went business class on my MB this time I decided to go fancy and this happens . The one I pulled out of this build was running ddr 2 mem that old and the only reason to change was I wanted ssd support . O well live and learn we all have our lessons grrrrr

Solo Squad queue win last week. Im on TS whenever I play with others if you need a squad or an extra warm body or two.

One of your 2 CTRL keys might be stuck down.  CTRL+ESC does the same thing as the windows key.
 
Try popping the key cap off of both CTRL keys and clean them. That's either a problem with your keyboard or your keyboard software since it's Tabbing out of the game and opening up the start menu.
 
I'm 99.9% sure there is no way a bind can tab you out of the game and opening the Start Menu lol.  Betting on stuck key. Spill anything sticky on or near your keyboard lately? Beer? Coffee? Soda? 1 small drop is all it takes. 

I think it's win 10 go back to win 7 never a prob!
