Hi  Idiots, 


We would like to inform you all about a new call of duty 4 freezetag server. 

We have been working hard to get this running for you guys and to bring something classic but totaly new to our gaming community. 
With this new freezetag server we not only bring you new guns, but also different kill streaks, modern look of cars and carepackages and alot of freezetag fun. 

So what is different from the mw2 server? 

Well, first off all we don't offer defroster emp's, you can only gain a car from a carepackage and they cannot defrost people. The reason we did this is because 
we think that the players on this server need to earn to win the game by defrosting your team mate's and not by sitting back in start of the map and let your cars and emp's do all the work for you. 

The server settings are set to hardcore so it is pretty eazy to kill someone. 
There are options to setup your own custom class from RANK3 and up.

I played it yesterday and it was fun!

can you guys try to fix the spawns? It seems the teams start all rounds at the same site of the map.

all the settings are good imo, 

 

I will play it tonight again, hopefully with more players so we can give some feedback about the server!

Very important!! - do not ask for or expect any changes to this mod. It is 'as is' and not one created by Sammy. 

Also, spawns are MAP SPECIFIC. They can possibly be changed, but only by a mapper.

Not 100% true, Sammy does help me with some changes. 

We do listen to idears, but we will not make big changes to it. As it was our plan to keep it as hardcore as possible. 

Here's a list of small upgrade's: 

  • Carepackage fly in faster. 
  • Carepackage are faster to grab when they are drop on the ground 
  • Spawn side's are now swapping ( @daniel )
  • Defrosting is a little slower 
  • Removed MP_Arkona as it crashed (  file sum mismatch )

Thats it for now.

Future fixes are: 

  • The snowflake icon when someone is dead in the TAB menu while playing. 


All further hardcore settings will remain the same as is.

Gonna change the ingame chat so it shows who is talking? Just to prevent confusion..like now I cant tell if someone is talking ingame or in ts.

And the number of alive friendlies and enemies top left of screen wont change right?

You already said the awnser. It will not been showen as is part of hardcore settings.  We only change some settings because they have to be made in order to have a good running server. Part from that everything will remain on its hardcore settings. The reason for this is that we are trying to have a complete different setup then the mw2 server. Not because the mw2 server is bad, but just to have another different gametype avalible for thos who like to play something different.

I understand. Never played this hardcore mode before do just asking. And the ingame chat logos? If that is part of it as well I just keep that in mind when playing ;). For instance mute my ts temporarily.

Naaaah rockets and jumping will never get rid off. Its what make's our servers. The rockets are awsome, you can guide the rockets when you turn arround your character to another direction.
