'Setting up game' stays on for ages, up to 3 minutes sometimes 2. Keep getting that 'reliable command cycled out' even on old maps 3. The 'Waiting for server to load new map' stays on for ages (as with Setting up game), often followed by the reliable command error. I have been getting this for a couple of weeks now, and can't find any connection problems, other than bloody slow in this part of the UK, but that didn't seem to be a problem before. chris4874 Posted June 15, 2011 Member ID: 2491 Group: **- Inactive Registered Users Followers: 0 Topic Count: 37 Topics Per Day: 0.01 Content Count: 354 Content Per Day: 0.07 Reputation: 0 Achievement Points: 2140 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 05/11/11 Status: Offline Last Seen: Never Birthday: 04/20/1961 Share Posted June 15, 2011 yes mate, i have the same problem in the uk,no idea what is causing it tried everything, i have what i think is the config file from hell,my connection is sound ,HOWEVER from chicago to london [30 miles from me and my nearest test area] my ping is 137 to 190 [no packet loss] from "san fran" to london it is 164[constant]even the uk servers are bad at the moment [one has a ping of 10 to me]but the lag makes it unplayable, i have no idea what is causing it, but it makes ace mod unplayable some nights now, last night for a while i was first [lol] then heliocopters turned up,and with 5 extra players ,i was in the red [and bottom] faster than gaddifi having a shit during a airstike. i would be very interested in hearing if other brits and europeans are having the same problems as us [judging by their results i would say not,] or maybe we all have shit kit?
