We have been receiving similar reports lately regarding servers restarting from dropped connections with the EA/DICE master server. The BF3 servers require a constant connection to the master server, so if the connection is interrupted the server will restart to attempt to reestablish the connection. Due to the number of similar reports over a different range of locations, there seems to be a temporary issue with the master server or a connection route that is resulting in the server interruptions.
