I've been seeing this doctor who is suppose to be one of our Nations best surgeons. On Wednesday, I found out that there is a patient with the exact same name and supposedly our birthdays are very close. This other patient has a problem with his c3/ c4 disc, which I was treated for too. He's okay now, unfortunately I'm still struggling. When I first went to him for this particular issue, he made claim that my c5/ c6 disc was herniated, not my c3/ c4. I reminded him of this, he stepped out for a bit, half an hour to be exact. He never came back, instead he sent in one of his nurses. I bet now, he wishes that he hadn't, because she told me everything! Honest to a fault. When I walked out in the hall to leave, I saw him still trying to make sense of our files. I approached him and asked a couple of questions. His lack of response was not so surprising, he acted as if I wasn't there. No response or acknowledgement what so ever. So I left, but before leaving, I also found that I've been paying this other guys fucking bills too! Not only do I have to get my neck treated properly, I have to figure out how much money this doctor owes me. My wife is an attorney, she says," Holy shit, now that's a law suit!". The guys is not only incompetent but he's also a jerk. Unfortunate for him, he ignored you when you approached him, I'd say let your wife at him. And I hope you find someone to give you the treatment and care you deserve and that you feel better soon. B Pharticus, simplemod, WiZiD and 2 others 5 Awards

I went to the doctor to get stitches removed and when I signed in the nurse asked my Birthday and I gave it to her. She got up and walked out for a bit and came back. Then she asked what was being done and I told her. She about freaked out because they had a girl in the back with the same name and birthday, but she was having surgery. The only difference was her middle name was spelled different. Glad I did not get her bills though.

National Health is free in the UK? Does everyone just volunteer, like the doctors and nurses? Do the pharmacutical companies donate the drugs? If so, then I guess it is "free". But if you mean that you avoid paying all those high taxes that everyone else has to pay including VAT at 20% of almost everything, then I guess it is free to you - but not them. And with all that free medical, you get to wait 6 months for a routine procedure and the results will be mediocre at best. That's why Canadian cabinet ministers come to the US to have complicated procedures. But I agree with you, if you don't pay any taxes and dont have anything wrong with you medically, you can't do better than the UK National Health Service (one of the top 5 largest employers in the world behind the Chinese Military and almost up there with Walmart ). And Bubbles, if it was my area of practice and if it was in California, I'd take your case on. Good luck. Awards

Yep Sonovabich we do pay lots of taxes. It used to go to things like the military that helped police the world but that has been cut. Now 40% of the people pay 100% of the taxes for programs that help the 60% that voted for the 40% to pay. Edited August 6, 2012 by Cotton Awards
