Processor: Intel Core i5-4670K Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3 Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sports 8GB Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM Video Card: EVGA Geforce GTX 760 Case: Antec Three Hundred Two ATX Mid Tower Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 750W 8 0+ Bronze Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB I am getting all of these from Amazon. There is a barebone kit on TigerDirect that is almost identical to this, so if this doesnt work out, I will get that. Edited March 30, 2014 by Flapjack Joe

That's all the CPU and Memory you really need to game well. You could do about that same build (by the benchmark) for $700 if you went with AMD... they are a little more tricky to get the clocks all setup but it's WAY more bang for your buck. AMD has twice the power for the same dollar... http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html

Its still in progress, though. I might keep it at $900 by adding some more RAM, but unless i could get a decent $60 SSD, I won't get one.

Unless you are doing video editing, you don't need more than 8gb. Don't waste your money. IMHO, don't get a $60 ssd. From the research I've done on that end of the price range, those are all the first generation products that are getting phased out. When selecting your ssd, really look at the stats of the ssd. What is it's reading / writing bandwidth? How much power does it draw? You will find the cheaper ones to be earlier designs that are sometimes the same speed as a regular disk drive. reddog955i 1

Funny thing is They were kept Dust free and in a very very well ventilated Case with 2 140mm fans blowing directly on them. I have since switched back to Western Digital for my storage drive and a 240 gig OCZ SSD for OS and a few games. Edited March 31, 2014 by Pvt.Death Awards

I did some research, and at the $900 budget, it doesnt make a huge difference with the processors. I am going with the 8350 over the i5 3670k (which is about $40 more).
