I also like the idea of adding Valley Summer back into the rotation, although it's a huge map and would need at least 5 or 6 people to make it playable. We need to start thinking of smaller to medium sized maps. It's rare when we have more than 6-8 people playing at the same time. And we need a good mix of large and small. i know it's tough to have the large maps come up when only a few are in the server, but on the reverse side, when the server is busy all night and several maps in a row are small, it "bang, bang, die, repeat". It takes the fun out of it and then peeps are squawking "spawn killers". I mentioned before, but don't know if it's possible to load maps sized by number in the server? It's honestly why you'll find me more in COD5 lately - better graphics (jungle in many) allows a chance after spawn AND I love the tanks! I haven't seen it for awhile, but it sucks. Or the maps where you spawn down in lower corridors and between spawn tripping and the wasted time to get into action, are boring. All other types of maps are OK. I think it is just a matter of map rotations being too far apart. Sorry I'm not a tech guy, but is there a way to put COD2 configs on to COD4 maps because it would certainly open up a whole new world of maps and would be a new twist for both COD2 and COD4 players. How about a rotation of Custom Map, Stock Map, Custom Map, Stock Map. The way I see it, custom ones are good and all but I also like the stock ones as well and I am sure other players will agree with me there about stock maps being just as fun as customs and maybe changing things around little with the customs. One could be all weapons, the next custom could be shotties or pistols only.
