The pasty has not been crimped in the traditional style and we have no clue as to their contents. The regional nature of this delicacy has been diluted by the expansion of Cornish pasty producers into the rest of England. Indeed, on the last occasion I went into a pasty shop in Tintagel to order a tray of them, I was served by a French woman!
