My dvdr looks to have bit the dust. For awhile it has had problems opening and would often need two attempts to do it. Now it wont open at all. Seems many people like LG but I have never had one of their products. I may one day rip my br discs to play via streaming or a home theater box. Pioneer also seems to have higher marks. Awards

I've been using LG Super Multi dvd and Blu Ray drives in all my builds the last 5 or so years. To my knowledge they are all still working.Only thing about the cheaper LG blue rays is that it does not come with any software unless you Like that horrible Power DVD. The motor tries. Same with using the pinhole to trigger the motor that way. I suppose I could take it apart and see. For bluray playback what is better than powerdvd? I like the bundle idea to save a few bucks because I likely wont be doing it that much. Awards
