please make a note of your registry or screen shot before you start.

open regedit.exe

Search for key: 0cc5b647-c1df-4637-891a-dec35c318583

Change ValueMax from 64 to 0

Restart Computer.

also if you're using nvidia card try these steps too.

go into nvidia control panel.

- Manage 3D settings.

- Global Settings

- turn off, Vsync, tripple buffering, Ambient Occlusion, Antialiasing - FXAA, and Transparency.

here is a video that i found to watch it is easy if you watch this and you can set them back if you want after.

Its probably important to note exactly what this is doing.  Since going and editing your registry isnt generally the smartest thing to do.

The reg key is ONLY for Windows 7.  It disables Windows 7 core parking (a feature that was designed to save power).

Windows 8 disables core parking automagically.

search on your pc in battlefield map for DXsetup, right mouse button, run as admin, re-install it. Start Battlefield and done.

I know for many people these fixes doesnt work, i were one of those unlucky ones and had accepted i just had to live with the lag.

But! I have found a solution and its easy. 1 tiny program to fix all your computer spikelags. The program im speaking about is called processlasso. Its freeware!

Features are as follows:

  • ProBalance - Protect your critical processes and improve PC responsiveness during high CPU loads!
  • Gaming Mode 2.0 with Bitsum Highest Performance power plan - newly improved
  • IdleSaver - Run at maximal performance while active, but conserve energy when idle
  • SmartTrim - The first-ever intelligent RAM optimizer - new
  • Automate and control process settings and power plans
  • Native 64-bit code for maximum performance
  • Unique system responsiveness metric to quantify your experience!

Process Lasso runs on all windows systems from XP and up

This is my setup, all bought december 2014.

Setup:
i5-4690k
asus z97-k
2x8GB Kingston hyperx Beast 1866mhz
Msi 970GTX 4Gaming
Coolermaster 650w
128GB intel 520 SSD
1TB Western Digital Purple Disk

I spiked once every 30-60 sec in BF and like every 30 sec in CS:GO. Now i dont spike at all anymore

Hope this will help alot of you guys.

Enjoy your spikefree gaming experience
