I still do. I am wondering what the middle ground these days is for questions about expected performance vs requirements. Awards

If your like 90% of the peeps your are running your game on a single monitor (60 hz max) and 21" in size...COD 4/5 and even BF4 on ultra you can go with a GTX 860 2 gig card all day long... jn

Also what the average is. In this case how many people have cards from say 4 years ago or more. Awards

If anyone out there is running a 256 or a 512 MB ddr 2 they are still living in 2004 Predat0r 1 Awards

However the poly size (triangles) is double that of the usual cod4 player. Also it doesnt have the 'level of detail' options. Typically there are 3. Each one 1/2 as complex as the previous. So if you are within X units you see the highest poly one. Beyond that you see the second highest one and so on. Helps because far away objects dont need to have full resolution. You may notice this as 'popping' at certain distances when the model shifts from one LOD to another. However considering this is a game made in 2007, before even DX9 cards were commonplace, I dont know if the other two LOD models are needed. It will also depend on the complexity of the maps these days, which are often much better than the stock maps, as well as the weapon viewmodels. And certainly if its a big server like it is here. Sounds like it could be a software issue, I had an older laptop that had a 2Gb ddr5 with a quad processor and it had issues running CoD4 and did the same thing you describe just more often, and I couldn't find the issue with it. I know everything was set right but idk, I hate nvidia, I will go with AMD any day for for graphics, they've never let me down. Awards

Lol, I don't even know what to say to that, when I was in highschool and was in Tech assistant, we had to replace parts and such and fix the school computers and we would always use a bit of the school money to upgrade out school work computers to play games, like 4 gb of ram 512 mb graphics and dual core processors, was a lot of fun being in the tech class, not many were allowed to be in the program of high school. Side note, I also despise Intel Pentium processors, Fuck those XjCrAzY 1 Awards
