Call of Duty WaW setup Help

Hey all I just recieved my copy today and would like some insight on setup

 

installed game and pb need to know what all patches I may need to install and maps to download

it is waw!you need all the patches 1-7,and the pb files are on the here some where?

So start with the 1st patch 1.0.1.17 and patch all the way to  1.6 - 1.7 ?

I got it off Steam, it's the lastest version and also PB sorts itself out when you first set up

If you are installing PC version from a disk, then yes.  All the patches can be found in the downloads sections. http://www.xtremeidiots.com/files/category/22-patches/

 

Install them in order.

He's installing from Steam.

 

@@loaderXI - I'm thinking you should be good to go.  If you're not up to date with the patches, then multiplayer won't show you any game servers to play on.  If you can see and get into our servers, you're good to go with that.  Now, if PB kicks you after a couple of minutes of play, then you will need the update which you can find here (I think):

Let us know if you need install help with PB.  I've fixed other peoples' PB just by TeamViewing them and copying over my PB folder to theirs.  Ususally there's an old file that's keeping it from working right.  But sometimes the installers put the right file in the wrong place.
