A harsh reminder that we are all getting on in years. I grew up with ELP my oldest brother bought a huge quadraphonic stereo and he all the ELP albums. My parents endured some very loud music but realized that as long as we are at home we weren't out causing trouble. When ELP played at Cal Jam in 1974 I wanted to go so bad since it was just down the street from me in Ontario but I was only 11yrs old and parents wouldn't let me go. I got caught trying to sneak out after they went to bed . . . the restriction would have been well worth it if I would have made it. Such great tunes from a trio of amazing musicians well ahead of their time. RIP Greg Lake Sonovabich 1 Awards

To see them in concert Leadfinger, would have been epic !! I to wish I would have had the chance but my older brother did take me to see The Who when they came to Cincinnati for that infamous concert where 11 people died I was 13 and my Mom was freaking out until we got home safe....needless to say I didn't go to any concerts for a while.... the world lost a talented musician ......R.I.P.
